E-learning refers to the use of electronic media and information and communication technologies (ICT) in education. E-learning is broadly inclusive of all forms of educational technology in learning and teaching.

E-learning is inclusive of, and is broadly synonymous with multimedia learning, technology-enhanced learning (TEL), computer-based instruction (CBI), computer-based training (CBT), computer-assisted instruction or computer-aided instruction (CAI), internet-based training (IBT), web-based training (WBT), online education, virtual education, virtual learning environments (VLE) (which are also called learning platforms), m-learning, and digital educational collaboration. These alternative names emphasize a particular aspect, component or delivery method.

Professional computer education is meant to produce expert faculty and a well-equipped computer lab is a pre-requisite. We have a well furnished air-conditioned computer lab with network facility for the latest microprocessor based computers.

Additional facilities like Laser Printer, DeskJet Printer, Dot Matrix Printers, and Scanner are also available in the computer lab. Broadband internet connection is available in the lab and the students are encouraged to utilize the lab facilities to the maximum.

Hostel life is the first step you take to face the challenges of life it teaches you how to be independent and is the most memorable phase of your life. Modern college hostel is a home away from home. There are separate hostels for boys and girls with round-the-clock wireless internet and internet connectivity.

Students are provided shared accommodation in the first year. Each room has attached bathroom and is fitted with cupboards, chairs, tables, beds, light and power points. Each hostel has its own common room where students can relax and watch television. The college is residential in nature and is within walking distance from the Institute.

To add a library to a house is to give that house a soul. Library is the soul and nerve center of any academic and research organization. The Library of Modern College is located in the heart of the institution and therefore is easily accessible to the departments, classrooms and hostels. The library is fully air-conditioned. It can accommodate 100 users at a time. The books both technical and general, journals, magazines and their back volumes, DVD’s, are available for the use of faculty and students of the institute.

The College campus is well connected to City. The college has its own fleet of buses to cater to the transportation needs of its students, staff members and visiting guests. These buses serve as the link between the campus and the city.

We also provide an internet facility to our students as internet is the need of the time. The students need to surf net for some help or to get some information for their work so we provide them internet facility. It will help them keeping updated with the outer world. We provide a high speed Broadband Internet Connection with unlimited browsing and downloading to our students. As we want our students to lack in nothing so we also don’t lack in any facilities.
